Lesson Learned

Lesson Learned

After an exciting few weeks of homeschooling, art show prep & a birthday (Our daughter turned FIVE! Gasp!!), we are now in full prep mode for the party of the year – her fifth birthday party!

Since we have typically had small, family parties, we decided to go all out this year in celebration of Li’l t turning five. Not to fret, y’all will be in on the big secret in a few short weeks!

This morning, the birthday girl & I shared in getting things ready. We counted supplies, organized favors, assembled boxes. Upon seeing her fumble with a box for some time, I simply asked her if I could show her a different way to put the box together. She looked at me with her wild, fun face and said, “But I like doing it like this. It’s more fun this way!” Oh. Right. Carry on, then.

Lesson learned.
