Time: Will There Ever Be Enough?!

Time: Will There Ever Be Enough?!

A wise friend once told me “You either have the time or you have the money, rarely do you have both.”  I’d have to agree.  Except, wait a minute!!  I have neither time NOR money right now!

Feeling a little rushed this week with so much going-ons, I shall take the time to breathe deep and stop to smell search for the (frozen) roses.  It sure seems like the older we get, the faster time flies.   As a kid, everything lasted eons, time was never-ending.  The school year seemed like an eternity and summer lasted forever.  Why is that?!  Shouldn’t it be the other way around?  Children can’t possibly appreciate time.  Perhaps it should be that way, otherwise maybe they wouldn’t enjoy their time so much.  If we don’t anticipate spending our time, maybe it stands still…?

Too much to do, too little time.  Hopefully someday soon I can scratch that & reverse it. In the meantime, I have to go.  😉

  1. I think you can have time and money….perception is everything, and what you focus on expands! My mother’s favorite quotes and so much easier said than done! I am trying to focus on doing less and “being” more! I tend to want everything a certain way and I have to keep reminding myself that I am not going to remember the dishes I left in the sink, what I will remember, in the end is the time spent with the ones I love and that is what they will remember too. Taking time to smell the roses, frozen or not is so important,, but again, easier said than done!

    • Yes! Definitely easier said than done! Hopefully we can all keep reminding eachother from time to time 🙂 Thanks Kel!

  2. That picture makes me dizzy…but its so damn cute!! and another wonderful message to send, Lele! ♥

  3. If only we could figure out a way to stop sleeping! (And by sleeping I mean laying in bed in between the bi-hourly feedings of our littles!)
    Well said-Leandra!
    Enjoy the moment!
